Free 8 Step Method Rakes In Money On Autopilot - 1 Hour Set Up Time
When people start out online there are so many different methods
floating around out there and it is hard to know what works without trying it.
What happens to many people is that they start something and then they find
something else and ditch the old method and start something new. They never
give enough time to the initial method to see if it works or not. This cycle
continues day after day and month after month.
The only way to cure this is to focus on ONE method and working that
method until it makes a profit. Then you can get into to other methods. The
best and fastest way I know of is to build a list of people interested in your
niche and then provide them with quality content and related offers that they
would have to purchase.
Here are the 8 steps to make this work.
1. Build a squeeze page
2. Get an autoresponder
3. Create a free report to give away
4. Drive targeted traffic to your squeeze page
5. Buy a solo ad
6. Do ad swaps once you have a list
7. Find related offers to send to your list
8. Write emails with content mixed in and place the offer in the email
It is easier said then done, but if you work at it and follow the steps,
you should be able to build a list of qualified prospects who would be
interested in your emails, your report, and your offers.
Like I said, there are many ways to make money online. It is very easy
to get mixed up in building blogs, building AdSense sites, affiliate sites,
writing hundreds of articles, pay per click, pay per view, Facebook pages, and
the list goes on and on.
If you want to break the cycle and actually build something that will be
useful to you, you should look into building an email list.
There are a few up front costs you will have to cover such as hosting
and an autoresponder. These are very minimal and you should use them if you
plan on running an online business.
Another big thing with this is traffic. You need traffic in order to get
people to your squeeze page. Here's a quick traffic tip.
If you don't have a list, create a squeeze page and buy a solo ad. Then
once you have a list, contact other marketers and do a list swap. This way you
both get new subscribers.

Facebook Page Posts 04 - Media
In the earliest days of online life, the world was limited to text-only interactions. But the pace of technological advancement has been amazing these last 30 years. Now, many of us hold computers in the palm of our hands that are vastly superior to those early desk top units that squealed and screamed when connecting with another computer over a landline.
It was
only a few years ago that watching a video online was frustrating, and posting
a 30-second video required a thick manual, a ritual sacrifice, and the luck of
the gods. Well... almost.
According
to several studies, a plain text post now receives the least attention. In
order for a post to grab eyeballs, at minimum it should have a picture
attached. (A post no longer has to include text - it could be just a still
picture, or even just a video clip, but we'll get there in a few minutes.) This
is why you might see a post on Facebook about almost any subject, and attached
will be a picture of a pet, or a sunset, or a tree - something totally
unrelated to the subject of the message. If you can get a person to stop and
look at your picture, there's a chance they'll also read the text of your post.
The
picture you add to your post doesn't have to be a photograph. It can be a
graphic - clipart, perhaps - with or without text in the image itself. It could
also be all text, stylized in one or more interesting typefaces; you'll often
see those created for quotes. Whatever type of image you attach, try to make it
directly related to your post. If you announce that your business now sells
blue widgets, post a picture of a blue widget. Now taking appointments for
plumbing visits? Show your workers in their best uniforms smiling as they step
from a truck with your company's logo on the side.
In
between the still picture and a full-motion video is the "animated
picture" - often a GIF (graphic interchange format) format image. These
are still pictures arranged into "loops" a few seconds long, where
the subject is often funny and/or shocking. The use of GIFs has changed
drastically over the last few years, and I could write a whole dissertation on
their use in personal posts. For now, we'll just say that Facebook considers
GIFs a category of still picture, and they're attached the same way.
As I
said a few minutes ago, your posts no longer need to include any text. If
you've got what I call a self-contained image - with a picture, some
explanatory text, and connection information - then post that by itself. FB
also allows you to upload video clips, and the same goes for video posts. If
you've got raw footage you've shot with your phone, you'll probably want to add
text explaining the context of the video, and adding any commentary you think
necessary. Of you can post a fully-produced video, complete with an intro,
closing credits, and mood music. Producing video clips for your business is a
completely different subject. I tackle that in another series of articles.
The
one type of medium that FB does not currently allow in posts is stand-alone
audio. So if you've got an audio podcast, or an audio recording of a book or
article you've written, you'll have to produce it into a video clip in order to
upload it. Again, the specifics of this are beyond the scope of this article,
but the "video" can be as simple as a single still picture (or
multiple pix chained together) taking up the image track, while the audio track
plays. You can find these type of videos on YouTube, often created by home
enthusiasts for songs where there's no video recording of the artist.
Currently,
the maximum file size for a video uploaded to Facebook is 1.75GB, which at HD
format is a run-time of around 45 minutes. However, you should keep video posts
as short as possible. You're pushing it with videos longer than 30 seconds.
Only people who are surfing FB to relieve boredom will watch videos longer than
a minute, and you'd better have completely unique content that people feel will
change their lives if you post a video with a run-time over 5 minutes.
Regardless
of the media you use, any post you make on Facebook or elsewhere should have a
specific intent - a set goal you want to accomplish. The message should be
crafted using the principles of immediacy and scarcity when appropriate. Any
time your post attempts to sell, or you ask a question, give the reader the
contact info or link needed. In almost all posts, you should tell the reader
exactly what you expect them to do once they've read the post, and give them
any tools they need to do that.

How To Get Your Content Seen On Social Media
Creating content for social media is an important part of every business's marketing strategy. It might be a blurb that goes with a link to a video or blog post, or it might be an infographic or meme to help you get a point or two across.
Plan Ahead
Most
people seem to totally forget to plan ahead regarding social media content.
This is a mistake. If you create a blog post, for example, then you should
create a tweet, a Facebook post, and other blurbs for whatever social network
that you plan to share the information on.
Add the
Content to Your Calendar
Include
social media content on your editorial calendar. If you know that in August
you're going to promote a great new product or service, then you should also be
planning for social content to use in that promotion - both leading up to the
launch and during the launch.
Create
Images for Social Media
Remember
that images are a form of content, and that you need to create images for
social media sharing. Images are more likely to be shared than text and are an
important part of your marketing actions on social media. Using a variety of
images as content, like infographics and memes, will increase shares and
engagement.
Share More
Than Once
It's
important that you promote the content that you create and that you do it more
than once. People do not check their entire social streams, so sharing the same
content with new blurbs and a new spin on the information several times will
increase the view rate exponentially.
Conduct
A/B Testing
Also
called split testing, you want to see what times, headlines, and topics get
more attention than others. As you collect this data, you'll soon know exactly
what time is best to share any updates with your social media followers.
Target
Each Audience
Each
social network has its own personality, and the portion of your audience that
follows you and engages with you on each network is usually slightly different.
Therefore, it's important to ensure that the content you create for each
network is exclusive to that network.
Create
Content Often
With
social media you need to have content for every day of the week, and share it
more than once per day. This can seem like a lot of content to create, but it
all stems from the basic message you want to get across to your audience based
on your promotions.
When you
write and manage your content correctly, it will make your life easier and your
business grow. To discover how the most successful online entrepreneurs plan,
create and deliver great content, download my free checklist, The 5 Step
Content Strategy, at https://jonallo.com/contentplan

5 Micro-Blogging Tips to Help You Achieve Success With Social Media
As far as microblogging is concerned, Instagram, Facebook and Twitter are the leading platforms. Besides, LinkedIn can also be used for this purpose, especially for professionals in the industry.
Since bloggers don't have all day to do research and produce content,
they go for micro-blogging platforms to expand their audience. In this article,
we are going to share with you 5 tips that can help you improve your awareness
regarding your brand and get more and more customers. Read on to know more.
1. Incorporate Relevant Keywords in the Content
In simple words, keywords and phrases refer to the queries that help you
rank in the leading search engines, such as Google, Yahoo and Bing. What you
need to do is make a search and create a list of relevant keywords to be included
in the posts.
You may also want to take your time and do your keyword research. Here,
it's important to keep in mind that stuffing keywords in the content pieces is
not a good idea. This practice can have a negative impact on your search engine
ranking.
2. Show your Personality in the Posts
Make sure your blog posts are unique. This will help people recognize
them more easily. You can choose from a lot of tools that can help you create a
plan for your micro-posts based on the platforms they are aimed at.
If possible, you may want to give each of the content pieces a personal
touch. This will create a great impression on your readers.
3. Follow a few top Niche Micro-blogs
For inspiration and updates, you may want to stay tuned to other blogs,
especially micro blogs in the same niche. The idea is to get inspiration for
content ideas for your posts. You may want to write on topics that you know
your audience will like the most.
Following these blogs will give you a deeper insight into the audience
and content pattern. In fact, all platforms offer great insight into audience
behavior so that users could produce better content.
4. Update your Micro-Blog Bio
Ideally, you may want to write content for the micro-blog bio. This
should include your contact details, interests, services and other industry
specifics. If your biography is complete, it will make your profile look
better. As a result, you will be able to get a lot of customers or followers.
5. Get Backlinks from Authority Websites
For search engine optimization, backlinks carry a lot of importance for
your blog. Aside from this, backlinks play a great role as far as the ranking
of your micro-blog is concerned. Therefore, you may want to get backlinks from
authority websites, as low-quality sites won't help you at all.
The Takeaway
Long story short, micro-blogging is greatly helpful in developing brand
awareness. If you follow the tips given above, you can easily grow your
micro-blog and get the most out of your time, money and effort. Just keep in
mind that you should not make the common mistakes or your efforts will prove
counter-productive.

3 Simple & Effective Ways To Make Real Money Online
Ever since the introduction of internet and the possibilities it offered a lot of businesses saw the potential of increasing their exposure and made themselves available online which is when the digital economy started. With technology constantly evolving and internet speeds reaching the phase they are in now it became clear that digital economy would topple the traditional economy by a lot and become much better for profit. Recently the digital economy is one of the key drivers of the economic growth in the US and it's grown for about 7.2% annually for the past decade which is a rate about 4 times faster than the GDP. The development of technology has also made way for many businesses to easily improve their efficiency in many fields while having lower costs.
The
digital economy has a few advantages over the traditional one and those are:
1.
Effective resource allocation - in the digital world there is an option to get
an algorithm that has information on what people search on Google, what they
want and how they want it and it's much cheaper than paying people who may or
may not be able to help you sell your product.
2.
Location - it doesn't matter where you are as long as you have an internet
connection and an online presence. You can be sitting at home in your pajamas
and be able to make millions selling services or other products if your online
store is well marketed.
3.
Faster growth of small businesses - when you get your business online it would take
about $20-$30 to reach an audience between 3000-4000 people which means it
would only cost so little to make your new business known to so many people out
there that might be interested in your product or service.
Affiliate
Marketing
Having a website or a blog that is frequented by a lot of people is one of the
better things you can have to be able to make money online because if you have
one of those you can use it to put up affiliate links and refer people to
services for which you'll earn commission. If this sounds simple it's because
it is but the hard part is to get to a website or a blog that a lot of people
are reading. It takes some time for a new website to become popular and have a
lot of traffic. It involves working hard and putting up content regularly but
once you build your audience you can truly enjoy the passive income and quit
your job to work from home.
The
way affiliate marketing works is by offering commission for the products or
services sold. There are a lot of websites that have various products and
services listed and available, and all you have to do is sign up for their site
and apply to be an affiliate for a product. Once you get approved (this usually
happens really fast) you will get a unique link that you need to embed in you
posts so your audience can see it and if they buy the product or service
through this link you'll get a commission for it which can be anywhere from 20%
to 200% depending on the product and the company offering it.
Make
sure you refer your readers to products and services you really think are worth
their trouble because if you refer them to something mediocre you might start
losing your audience and your online income will take a hit. Do your research
before you apply for any service to make sure you're an affiliate of something
great and you can proudly present it to your readers.
There
are various affiliate websites that you can sign up for and pick from the
products and services they are offering including Rakuten Marketing,
Share-a-Sale, Commission Junction, ClickBank, Impact Radius and a lot more but
you don't have to use these sites to be an affiliate. There are many companies
that recognized the potential in offering affiliate options on their own
without using one of the websites above and they implemented an option where
you deal with the company directly.
Overall,
affiliate marketing is definitely the best way to make money online and build
up your passive income which will allow you quit your day job and work from
home and eventually pay people to work for you so you can enjoy your day and
spend your time as you see fit.
eCommerce
Business
eCommerce is a very fast growing business that people can utilize to take
advantage of the rise of digital economy and make money online. This method
also involves working from home and eventually it can be turned into a passive
income stream that will only need maintaining rather than constant working and
huge effort.
The
model for eCommerce businesses starts picking a niche and persona. Once you've
done that you'll need a website on which you can create your online store and pick
a product that you believe will sell well and have the highest profit margin.
It has to be within the niche you picked and match the persona you decided to
represent. It's best to start with just one product rather than many because it
can get messy if the orders start coming in and you can't cover the costs right
away. There might be problems with shipping and returns which is really hard
for newly made websites. Once you've established a good profit margin for one
product you can expand and find out what else is selling like crazy so you can
put it up on your page for your visitors to buy.
It's
pretty straightforward model but the eCommerce market today is highly
competitive and it's not easy to compete with websites that are already well
established and trusted by consumers. However, it's still one of the simplest
and most effective ways to make real income online using the growth of digital
economy.
Coaching
and Consulting
Take
Advantage Of The Many Apps Available
Apps that are available on your smart devices aren't just for fun and games.
There are many apps that have the potential to make you a lot of money if you
are really devoted to becoming a part of the digital economy and make money
online. There are few apps available that you can use to find a coaching or a
consulting job and one of those is the Task Rabbit.
Task
Rabbit
A very simple app to use that can make you some extra money. Clients post tasks
on the app and you can apply for anything posted there. The various tasks can
be simple and easy which would pay less and might go up to extremely
complicated and require expertise in a field but they would also be paid more.
To find a consulting or a coaching job you just need to search their database
of jobs posted and see if there's anything available at the moment. You can
also try other similar apps and not just stick to this one.
Utilize
Money Making Websites
One of the better ways to join the digital economy and make money online is to
use the websites available to everyone for making active and passive income.
Some of the sites that are set up can be used to sell digital goods like
designs for apparel but can also be utilized for consulting and coaching
services. Basically the websites we're putting in this category are the ones
that focus their attention on long term working relationships with freelancers
in various niche areas including photography, design, content creation, online
marketing, coaching and consulting. A few of the sites available on the web are
the following.
Upwork
An amazing marketplace for freelancers to find a part time or even a full time
job. It's great for selling any kind of digital service you can possibly
imagine. The best thing is that what you need for this site is to be good at
what you do. No need for creating your own website or a special merchant
account. If your service is top-notch and your knowledge in the field you're
working in is exemplary you have nothing to worry about. The only downside
might be that there is a lot of competition and you'll have to
"fight" to get a job but other than that it's an awesome place you
can make money online which can easily turn into passive income.
Fiverr
Another similar website to Upwork but on this one you're posting what you can
do for a certain amount while the minimum amount is $5. So if you're looking
for coaching clients you can post a gig that will let people know you're
available for coaching sessions for an x amount of money and people who are
looking for something like that will be able to see your gig and hire you to be
their coach. Here's a link where you can sign up for Fiverr.
Conclusion
The digital economy is a very fast growing economy compared to traditional one
and we should all take advantage of the opportunity it offers.
The 3
simple and effective ways that we present above are the ones that work best for
building your passive income and while affiliate marketing is listed first and
it's the best choice, eCommerce and offering consulting and coaching services
are close seconds. Picking any of the three ways, or even a combination of them
all is something that everyone who has a little knowledge and is ambitious
should do. It's never been easier to go online and start your own small
business while sitting comfortably on your couch and work from home.

Using Other People's Articles To Boost Your Web Site Profits
I've always been the kind of webmistress who has shyed away from using other people's articles on my web site. I figured once I got people to my site, I didn't want them clicking off willy-nilly to follow someone else's words of wisdom.
However recently I changed that song-and-dance. And
if you're a webmaster who follows that line of thinking, you should probably
re-think your strategy too. It's flawed for one very simple reason.
People are online mainly for information. And no
matter what you do - or don't do - many of your sites visitors are eventually
going to click off to your competitors web sites anyway.
That doesn't mean they won't buy something from
you, or perform some other desired action. It's just a fact of doing business
online, where your closest competitors are really just a click away.
That's why avid, hard core golfers buy golfing
videos, subscriptions to golfing magazines, they read golfing books, they may
even have simulated golf course video games at home. People just want great
information, and they'll continue looking for it even if they've read volumes
already.
So in all actuality by feeding this desire for
information (your information... other people's information) you might actually
be keeping visitors on your site longer, and giving them incentive to come
back. Cool huh?
But more importantly, by including other people's
articles on your site, you can also enhance your own profits.
How? Follow these simple steps:
1) Create an article directory on your existing
site.
2) Collect targeted articles from directories like
ezinearticles.com, isnare.com, and so on. Add them to your sites article
directory. Make sure that each article is given its own individual web page.
3) Add AdSense advertising or Affiliate Sensor ads
to each article page. AdSense has optimization tips at
(https://www.google.com/support/adsense/bin/static.py?page=tips.html). Their
hot zone map will help you determine the best placement for advertisements on
your web page.
By following these 3 steps you've done a couple of
things.
First and foremost you've created an additional
revenue source. Each time someone clicks on an AdSense ad, you make money. Or
if you opted for Affiliate Sensor ad's, each time someone clicks on one, and
purchases something, you make money.
And secondly, you've added some new content for
your sites visitors. This will keep them clicking around a lot longer.
It's easy, relatively painless, and you can
continue adding new articles to further increase you profit opportunities. Just
think of it as your good karma for giving the article authors a little free
publicity.

Adsense - The Powerful Passive Income Generator!
Webmasters have a revolutionary new method of collecting income from their websites.
Whereas in the past advertising revenue was
reserved for those sites with a large coming and going of visitors, now even
teenagers are making a quick buck with their online hobby blogs. People place
adsense on their online family photo albums, their blogs and their business
sites. The minimum you would get, even with a small amount of traffic, is for
adsense to pay for your hosting costs.
Adsense revolutionized the world of paid
advertising; banner advertising is based on the number of visitors you attract
to your site, so the number of "banner impressions" dictate the
revenue you receive. Google Adsense is quite different; it is the number of
visitors that actually click on the advertising that determine how much you
earn.
There is also a great disparity between payouts;
because advertisers bid up the price for certain keywords, some ads pay more
than others. As such, a site with few visitors but expensive keywords in their
google ads can potentially still pull in a hefty payout.
Google really has taken the web by storm; attracted
to passive income, more and more people are seriously capitalizing on their
Google adsense advertising. Some of the highest earners manage to attract
enough visitors to make a four figure monthly income, just from using adsense
alone! This is not one of those get-rich-quick schemes and Google's adsense
success is largely thanks to the fact that Google already enjoyed a fantastic
reputation before introducing the program. They are a publicly traded company
with physical headquarters. This, and the fact that anyone can apply to use
adsense for free, has caused millions of people to sign up. For google it was a
smart move, because now they extend their presence to countless websites and
generate millions of dollars in advertising revenue. People were never
reluctant to sign up, because the program is free. Google benefits by more
people using adsense, so offering it for free was the best thing they could do.
One of the driving forced behind the program are
its relevance to each and every page on a website; the program picks up
keywords appearing in the website copy and automatically displays relevant ads.
This increases the chances of people clicking through, and the webmaster
collecting more revenue.
People are leveraging their income by operating
several websites and attempting to attract as many targeted visitors as
possible; in many instances we can observe that people work hard at a site,
then once it is established they can largely leave it alone, yet still collect
significant checks.
A major concern for entrepreneurs was the danger of
a competitors ads showing up on their site; thanks to the adsense feature where
it only displays relevant advertising. However this problem was solved by
offering webmasters the option of filtering out unwanted ads. They can submit
the URL of the competing site in their account, and any ads from the website will
be blocked.
Google recently came out with a new feature: small
targeted keywords based on the site's content are displayed; then as people
click on those, a page opens showing a variety of pay-per-click ads based on
that keyword. This gives webmasters the chance of displaying more advertising
in less space.
Adsense also adds creditability to your website;
the more focused the content, the better the ads will be and this encourages
people to built high quality websites. These make the net a better place and
generally provide a free service; site owners can afford to share their
expertise or passions because they can receive indirect revenue's. The visitor
does not pay for the information; instead the advertisers do, making the
website's existence possible in the first place.
It is no surprise Google adsense is the most widely
used form of advertising; they have created a program that is beneficial to
both advertisers and users with their "no click no pay" mechanism, or
more popularly called "pay-per-click". Advertisers do not pay for ads
that are not drawing visitors, and website owners are paid more for each click
than they would if the system were based on the number of people viewing the
ads, instead of clicking on them.
All in all Google adsense has developed itself into
a powerful tool, used by large corporations and the kid next door. They have
truly revolutionized how the web thinks about advertising and made the process
more profitable for site owners, while less costly for advertisers.

What are Your Beliefs About Money and Wealth?
What is your attitude towards having wealth? Do you believe it is possible to have anything that you want? Or do you believe that wealth and prosperity are reserved only for those other "lucky" people in this world? Okay, please pay attention to this:
There Is No Such Thing
As Luck
Take a good look at what you have today; look at
how much money you have, your possessions, and your investments if you have
any. Are you satisfied, or are you just going through the motions, and settling
for second best? Look around at everything you have right now, and then look in
the mirror. Because....
Everything you have
right now, YOU have created.
Now, this might be a totally foreign concept to
you; if so, I want you to open your mind and consider what I have just told
you. Maybe it will be a hard thing to accept at first, but once you do, you
will unleash an invincible force within you. When we're not getting what we
truly desire, it's much easier to blame outside forces than to look inside
ourselves..but by blaming others, we give away our power! The honest truth is
that what you put your attention on expands.

Broke? Fix It Yourself: BE Wealthy
If you're reading this right now you probably have been broke, are broke, or know someone who is struggling with being broke. The pain and suffering of being in this state is truly awful. Being broke causes thoughts of despair, feelings of failure, desperation, struggle, lack and need. Being broke prevents us from reaching our potential, from living our lives freely. Being broke prevents us from being wealthy.
How is this possible? Like attracts
like. Being broke attracts more experiences of being broke. It is a vicious
cycle, once that can very easily be transformed once we understand the
fundamental laws of how our mind and spirit interact with the universe.
It is your underlying state of BEING, in this case, being broke, that creates
the resultant thoughts and feelings in your mind. As a package, this whole
message is broadcast to the universe, which in return gives you more of the
same: experiences of being broke.
One of the laws of manifestation is that we must BE before we can DO, and DO
before we can HAVE. Of course modern society has twisted this all around. Being
broke is a powerful message we are sending to the universe and ourselves. We
are in a state of BEING, and it is broke. This will inform our actions to act
in ways to continue to be broke, and we will continue to have this condition of
being broke in our lives.
Your life experience is an outer reflection of your inner reality. All the
thoughts and feelings you hold, consciously and unconsciously, are what create
the experience that is your life. Your past created your present, and your
present is creating your future.
It can be hard to understand that we are responsible for what we experience. I
remember being unhappy, and then experiencing events that I perceived as
causing me to be unhappy. Then I would say to myself, I am unhappy because of
this... no wonder I am unhappy. I was trapped in my own vicious cycle and had
no idea it was me who was responsible for my experiences of unhappiness.
To break the cycle I first needed to know what was broken in order to fix it.
It was the message I was sending out. I found there was a very simple way to
fix it.
If I notice one day that I am unhappy, and understand that BEING unhappy is the
cause of my continuing experience of unhappiness, it is that day that I can
choose to change. All I need to do to break the cycle is: choose to be happy.
It doesn't take anything from outside myself to be happy. All I have to do is
gain awareness, pause, and pull up from within myself the state of being happy,
replacing the unhappiness. We all have this capacity.
Choosing is an exercise of free will. You can choose BE happy, healthy,
wealthy, whatever you desire. Take a moment and just BE happy. It is possible
for anyone to do and a very powerful exercise once you have done it and
understood it. If you are being happy, you will do things that make you happy,
and you will attract happy experiences into your life. Being happy is the first
step towards living a happy life. It seems almost like a riddle, but
understanding it unravels the secrets of life.
If you find yourself broke, look within. You'll find you feel broke, and are in
a powerful state of BEING. The awareness of this gives you the choice. You can
choose your state of being. Imagine what it is like to feel wealthy. Take that
feeling and hold it, you are now BEING wealthy. This is how to break the
vicious cycle of being broke. By BEING wealthy, you are now transforming the
signals you are broadcasting. You are emanating wealth and the laws of cause
and effect have no choice but to bring to you what you already are. Now your
actions will begin to bring to you the wealth you feel inside.
By being conscious of your states of being, you can choose to change them. The
positive results will return to you without fail, following the natural laws of
the universe.

What's Your Excuse for Not Being Successful in Life?
Excuses! Excuses! When we fail to do
something we are expected to do, we almost always have an excuse for it.
However, if we analyze it closely, an excuse is a self-destructive alibi for
having failed to do something, especially when it involves attaining a goal.
Instead of trying to persevere in finding ways to continue achieving a goal,
some of us resort to excuses.
Even a handicap cannot be used as an
excuse. Many handicapped but determined people have become achievers and
champions. Instead of using a handicap as an excuse, let us turn it into an
asset. Let us explore this further.
A handicap need not be a reason for failure. On the contrary, a handicap can be
a reason for success. People with a handicap always have an offsetting strength
that allows them to overcome problems better than others.
A person with a handicap has one obsession - to lead a normal life. Depending
on the handicap, a person would prefer to be as independent as possible. So he
struggles and finds ways to overcome his impediment. When he is able to achieve
his goal, this raises his self-esteem. In turn, he inspires others.
Everybody has handicaps in varying forms and degree. That is why; it requires
effort and determination to overcome them. Handicaps can either be physical,
financial, or emotional. And they can either be real or imagined.
Whenever we look at a handicap, we almost always look on the negative side
only. It's about time we take a look at the positive side of it. The positive
side may be the difficult side, but it's the one worth looking into. It's the
side that is going to lead us to excel in life.
If you think your handicap is physical, like having a weak body, you can
counteract this through proper diet and training exercises. As long as the
physical parts of your body are intact and mobile, there's no reason why you
cannot make it strong and useful. Why? Even those without a leg (for example)
can be made to walk or run normally. With the advancement of science,
artificial legs can help a handicap function with great mobility.
It your handicap is financial, then the more reason you have to rise above your
present status. And if your financial status limits your educational attainment
to improve your life, the school is not the only place to learn. Certainly,
there are help centers to get you started even from zero level. Once you are
initially warmed up with the basics of an education, the rest is up to you.
Make use of libraries. Once you are educationally equipped, use your brain and
come up with creative ideas to improve your life.
If you are emotionally disturbed with negative thoughts, it is like you are
sitting on a chair with wobbling legs. Try sitting on a chair with sturdy legs;
meaning, look at the bright, positive side of life. Put aside negativity and
start thinking positively. The only one who can stop you is yourself.
If your handicap is a combination of any of the physical, financial, or
emotional type, congratulations. You should strive more to overcome them,
because a double layer of perseverance results to more than double the
achievement. Where the odds are greater, the prize gets much bigger. After all
the efforts you have exerted, the prize of success shall be a well-deserved
one.
So what's your excuse for not being successful?
